Twin City Hockey Skating School summer camp featuring OHL players a big success!

After seeing significant improvements in skating by his two sons, Selby Colson wanted more players to benefit from the Twin City Hockey Skating School. Selby therefore organized a summer camp that included both daily power skating lessons with Twin City Hockey Skating School head instructor Bob Mackowski, and hockey practice drills featuring Mike Latta of the Guelph Storm, and Mike Halmo of the Owen Sound Attack.

Latta and Halmo--both veteran students of the Twin City Hockey Skating School--attribute a part of their success to their skating abilities. "If your skating and edge quality is not refined, you will struggle because as you get to higher levels everyone is good, and you need that skating edge", says Halmo.

Selby is thinking of expanding the successful camp next year.

To all players in the twin cities, and especially the players that attended this camp, I wish you all the luck in your try-outs and I hope you play at the highest competitive level.
